PrintMatch sometimes ships a tool, finds out it isn't good enough, and pulls it rather than leave a broken feature live. This page is a running record of what's been removed and why - for transparency, and so old links don't just 404 into nothing.
"Not Happy?" Refinement Quiz
This was a third quiz option that let you pick the printer you'd been recommended, say what you didn't like about it, and get alternatives. It's gone now. Two reasons:
It was inconsistent. The results it gave didn't reliably get better than your original match - sometimes the "alternative" was a worse fit even though it technically passed your filters. That's not a tool worth keeping around.
Doing it properly would take too long. A real refinement engine needs to understand your original answers, weigh trade-offs intelligently, and adapt - that's a lot of work to do well on a static, no-backend site, and the version that shipped was a rough first pass that showed it.
The main 3D Printer Quiz is built to get you a good match on the first try, so for most people this shouldn't be missed. If your result still feels off, retake the quiz and adjust a question or two - budget flexibility and must-haves move the result the most - or use the Compare tool and Browse page to dig in yourself. More detail in the original removal post.
